Andrew Rothey

Mr. Rothey practices in the areas of personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice. Mr. Rothey was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in the South Hills. He graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Rothey worked as a court clerk in the Criminal Division of the Court of Common Pleas. After completing law school at Duquesne University, Mr. Rothey joined Rosen & Perry. He has successfully handled numerous personal injury and medical malpractice cases through all phases of litigation.

In 2018, Mr. Rothey was elected by his peers to serve as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA). As Chair, he also serves a three-year term on the Board of Governors of the ACBA. He has been heavily involved in many ACBA public service projects to support the broader community and to raise money for charitable causes. Mr. Rothey is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Also in 2018, Mr. Rothey was recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney in the field of civil plaintiff law. He dedicates nights and weekends to teach in the nationally-renowned Trial Advocacy program at Duquesne University School of Law.
