Alex J. Perry

Alex J. Perry represents individuals and families victimized by medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and catastrophic injuries. Since joining Perry Calder Law, Alex has been instrumental in recovering more than $50 million for his clients. Alex represents clients through all stages of the civil justice system. His dual focus on courtroom strategy and appellate briefing allows him to preserve critical legal issues while driving cases toward favorable resolutions.

A Foundation of Elite Advocacy Prior to joining the firm, Alex practiced in the New York City office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. There, he represented Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes mass tort and consumer litigation. His work contributed to the firm’s recognition as a Law360 “Product Liability Group of the Year.” During his tenure, Alex gained invaluable trial experience serving on the trial teams of American Lawyer’s 2022 “Litigator of the Year,” helping secure defense verdicts in cases where hundreds of millions of dollars were at stake.

Having spent years in the trenches of a global law firm, Alex translates his experience in complex federal and state litigation into meticulous advocacy for the injured, ensuring his clients’ cases are built to withstand the most aggressive defense tactics.

Recognition & Education Alex’s work has earned him recognition as a 2026 Super Lawyers Pennsylvania Rising Star and membership in the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40.”

A native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of North Allegheny High School, Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he instructed first-year law students on legal writing as a Littleton Fellow and served on the Journal of Constitutional Law. He earned his undergraduate degree with highest distinction from Pennsylvania State University, receiving the Evan Pugh Scholar Award for finishing in the top 0.5% of his class.
