Pennsylvania truck accident injures one

For most motorists, it is common to share the roadways with numerous vehicles of different shapes and sizes. While a driver might frequently encounter a large truck, such as a tractor-trailer or a semi-truck. Some drivers might feel less at ease traveling behind, or directly right next to, a commercial truck. This fear or concern might stem from the ability for these massive vehicles to generate a large accident site, if a truck driver is negligent and collides with another motorist.

Such an incident recently occurred when a tractor-trailer truck crashed into a car in Rostraver. According to reports, the tractor-trailer crash occurred on Route 906 along the Monongahela River just before 9 a.m.

It is not clear how the accident happened or where the point of impact was for either vehicle, but when emergency crews arrived to the accident site, at least one person was reported with injuries. The severity of the injuries was not revealed at this time. But, the injured victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Following the crash, the roadway was temporarily closed for clean up and investigative purposes. Investigation for this truck accident is still ongoing at this time, and officers have not informed the public of any suspicions of cause or fault. Once the investigation is complete though, this information will be helpful with any charges or even any legal recourse taken.

An injured victim in a truck crash does have recourses available. A personal injury claim could help the injured party hold a negligent party accountable for his or her wrongdoings. Additionally, this legal action could help the injured victim recover compensation for any damages and losses suffered.
