Recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Pennsylvania Magazine in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, Mr. Louik maintains an active trial practice. He is a past President of the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, a professional organization open only to the top 250 trial lawyers as elected by their peers. Additionally, he is a past Chairperson of The Accountability, Conduct and Ethics Commission of Allegheny County, the local government body that receives and investigates complaints of alleged Ethics Code violations by Allegheny County officials and employees. Mr. Louik is a past recipient of the Allegheny County Bar Association's Philip Werner Amram Award which honors lawyers who successfully combine the practice of their profession with outstanding service to the community.
